12 Days of Treats: Peanut Butter Kisses (Day 6)

I know...I'm really late in posting today's treat! And I'm really sorry! But of course, I can promise that it was worth the wait!

These little bite-sized gems are the perfect holiday dessert treat or snack! Soft and light with the hit of peanut butter and dark chocolate...yum!  And of course, these are SO easy!  No need to chill the dough, throw them into the oven and the kids can even help!

Peanut Butter Kisses
1/2 c natural peanut butter (no sugar added)
1/2 c honey
1 tbsp sugar in the raw
1 egg
2 c whole wheat white flour
1 tsp baking powder

Preaheat your oven to 350 degrees.  With an electric mixer, beat your butter, honey and sugar until creamy.  Add your peanut butter and mix to combine.  Then add your egg.  Once the egg is fully mixed in, add your baking powder and flour.

Using a small cookie scoop (or two teaspoons) drop your cookies onto a foil lined cookie sheet.  Top each cookie with one dark chocolate chip (at least 60% cocoa).

Bake for 10 minutes or until lightl browned.  Cool for 10 minutes on the cookie sheet then serve!  Enjoy!
